We do not have any records or information about prisoners of war, except what is already here. 
When people send  names they are added to the website, but we do not have any other records.
We don’t have any information about individual, former prisoners-of-war,
except what people have sent to us and which has been put on the website.


The name and details you send will be added to the website –
there will be a page of the website for each POW camp for which information has been received.

  • Nationality:
  • Service (eg Navy, Army, Air Force etc):
  • Ship/Regiment/Squadron etc:

  • Where captured:
Any other information will be very welcome – including photos, diaries and anything else you think is relevant.

We
usually include contact details (just the email address) with the information on this website about each former prisoner-of-war, so that people can get in touch with you about this, but please let us know if you do not want your email address to appear.

All emails will be answered, but please don’t be offended if you have to wait a little while for a reply, as this website and its companion websites are a voluntary undertaking and sometimes there is a huge amount of work to get through!

A camp for British POWs reportedly existed near Caoria - Canal San Bovo (Trento). It was closed on 8th September 1943.
